Programs such as Painter and Photoshop allow us to do a little cheating along that line, however. Study his paintings closely and you'll see that philosophy presented in abundance. You've done the right thing in exactly describing what you want to do, and for that reason I don't think Painter would give you the best of what you'd want.

I use Painter 2021, and have had all editions since the program was first invented, where it evolved from a crude, bug-bloated program to the sophisticated software app that is used by professional artists today.
